Hi! I'm Nilanjan, and I am a teen author and illustrator of the series "Flying Over This World". As one can probably infer from the title, I love learning about the world, especially about geography. I have drawn hundreds of maps of different parts of the world, played lots of geography games, and read lots of books about our planet. Because of this, I have participated in geography competitions, and am a semifinalist in the US National Championships for geography.

Talking a bit about me personally, I live in California with my parents and dog. As mentioned before, I love to draw maps and read books about different places, and that also helps to calm my OCD. I like learning languages, and I like to play the saxophone. But my favorite thing to do is to talk to and make a connection with people, and if I ever get the chance, I'd love to talk to you too!
